About Me
I graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in English, and minor in editing. From a very young age, I have possessed a great love and a talent for writing. Studying at BYU helped be to hone my skills and to gain a deep appreciation for the art of literature and its intricacies.
Before graduating from college, I worked for Stowaway Magazine as the main copyeditor and completed an internship at a local publishing company, Cedar Fort, Inc. In 2012, after marrying my best friend, I became a Desktop Publishing Specialist at USTranslation Company, where I sharpened my skills in layout design. I know my way around several design programs, including InDesign and Illustrator. I later became the Managing Editor of the online magazine, ForwardWalking.com, where I edited all content published on the site, contributed articles of my own, created memes, and worked to drive advertisement. Currently, I do contract editing work from home so that I can continue my most important work--that of wife, homemaker, and mother of two awesome and active little kiddos.
